Your computer put right over the internet

Nothing to book in a diary, nothing to carry to a shop. Write in, agree a slot, and an engineer connects while you watch, explaining each step as it happens. You stay in charge throughout, because one keystroke closes the session for good.

What we sort out remotely

Nearly every household computer complaint traces back to a setting, a half-finished update or a program nobody asked for, and all three are fixable online. Where a component really has died, you will be told plainly, together with what a local repairer ought to be quoting for.

Describe the fault

Five minutes just to reach the desktop

Startup items get switched off, the manufacturer's extra utilities come out, drive health and pending Windows or macOS updates are checked. Then you get a straight answer to the real question: would an SSD or extra memory actually change anything on this particular machine? See PC clean-up and malware removal.

Viruses, fake alerts and bogus support lines

A window announcing a prize, a browser wandering off to sites you never chose, a panel insisting the device is locked and giving a number to ring. Unwanted programs and browser extensions are cleared out, then the protection settings are rebuilt so the same thing is not back by next month.

Email in Outlook, Gmail or a provider mailbox

Mail piling up unsent, storage full, an Orange, Free or SFR address that simply will not settle on a phone. The settings get rebuilt, old correspondence is brought across, and you are left with one filing habit that is easy enough to keep up.

When the printer stops answering

The correct driver goes on, the printer is joined to the household network, and scanning is pointed at a folder or straight to your mailbox. Your share of the work: switch it on and keep paper in the tray.

Broadband router and household Wi-Fi

With instructions on screen you open the admin pages of your provider's router. Between us the wireless password changes, a separate guest network appears, firmware is brought up to date, and we hunt for a position that finally gives the upstairs bedroom a signal.

Backups for photographs and paperwork

Two decades of family pictures sitting on a single disk is a gamble. An automatic copy is set up towards an external drive or an online space such as OneDrive or Google Drive, and then the restore is tried in front of you: pick a file at random, it has to come back whole.

Starting well on a new machine

Documents and programs travel over from the old computer, two-factor sign-in goes on the accounts that would really hurt to lose, and the questions people feel silly asking finally get answered. To learn properly and at your own pace, look at One-to-one training.

Prices

Every figure below includes VAT at 20 %. You know the amount before anything starts. Should the job turn out heavier than it first looked, the engineer pauses and asks for your go-ahead rather than running up the clock.

Choose a time

We never come to your home. Every bit of our help travels down the remote connection. When a part has to be swapped or a case opened, you receive a precise note of what to ask for in the shop or at the repairer, which stops you paying for work that was never needed.

How a session runs

All you need is a computer that powers up and can reach the internet.

01

You tell us the story

The form or a note to office@apply.fr is enough: what is happening, on which machine, and the hours when you can sit in front of the screen.

02

Price and slot

Back comes an amount and a proposed time. Payment is taken beforehand through a link, by bank card or instant transfer.

03

The connection opens

A small support tool downloads, it shows a code, and you read that code to us. Without you at the keyboard, nobody gets in anywhere.

04

Repair and write-up

The screen stays in front of you from start to finish. Once the link is cut, an email arrives listing everything that was done, plus a few pointers for later.

Questions and answers

Contact always starts on your side, never ours. A session only follows a message you sent yourself, and the confirmation leaves office@apply.fr and no other address. Banking credentials, a code texted to your phone or your FranceConnect details are things we will never ask for. Anyone doing so in the name of Apply should be cut off immediately.

No. The link is encrypted, it opens against a one-off code that you type in yourself, and you can break it whenever you like. Close the tool and the route to your machine simply no longer exists.

Remote access is off the table, yet it is still worth writing. On a video call from your phone it is often possible to separate a charger problem from a battery or a system one, and the machine comes back. If it does not, we draft a short note for a repairer near you so nobody charges for guesswork.

Often, yes, where a file was deleted by mistake or an online space was syncing the folder, provided nothing new gets written to the disk. A physically damaged drive belongs in a specialist laboratory instead, and we will help you pick a reputable one and read its quotation.

Settlement comes first, through a secure link, by bank card or instant transfer. A receipt follows automatically and an invoice on request. Everything is laid out on the payment page.
