Managed IT support

A company of thirty people cannot justify a full-time IT director, yet it still needs email to answer at eight on Monday morning and someone to pick up when the file server goes quiet. Managed support is built for exactly that gap: a fixed amount every month, a team that keeps the whole estate running remotely from user accounts through to backups, response times written into the agreement, and an invoice at month end with nothing unexpected on it.

Where this service reaches

The fee covers whatever comes round every week. A piece of work with a beginning and an end, moving mailboxes to Microsoft 365 or rebuilding the link between two sites, gets its own quotation, approved before anyone touches a keyboard.

Put your scope to an engineer

Devices and people

Joiners, leavers, passwords, Outlook profiles, permissions on shared folders. A newcomer finds their machine ready on the morning of day one, home-based staff included.

Microsoft 365 and Intune

Licences tracked against actual headcount, compliance policies, BitLocker encryption, updates driven from the cloud, multi-factor authentication for everyone, directors not exempt.

Servers and hosting

Monitoring, patching, disk space, logs. Whether your machines live at OVHcloud, in a public cloud or in your own comms room, we watch load climb before anybody feels it.

Network and firewall

Firewall rules, VPN access for home workers, wireless access points, links between sites. When a cable has to move, a video call lets us walk one of your people through it.

Backups that get tested

Scheduling, a daily check and a practice restore at an agreed rhythm. A green tick proves nothing until a file has actually come back out intact.

Documentation and reporting

An inventory of hardware, licences, accounts and access, held by you. Every month a report follows: request volume, targets met, planned work done, three things worth tackling.

The way an engagement runs

Month one goes on discovering what exists and fixing whatever is urgent. After that the contract settles into a steady rhythm, with no jolts and no budget surprises.

01

Taking over access

We deploy the remote access tool and monitoring, gather credentials into a shared vault, and build the inventory of machines, licences and subscriptions.

02

Putting things straight

Risks come first: a missing backup, patches months behind, an administrator login shared by five people, a firewall port left open by a project nobody remembers.

03

Day-to-day running

Requests handled as they arrive, planned work inside agreed windows, monitoring that raises the alarm before a user discovers the outage.

04

Monthly review

A short video call: the report, the incidents that mattered, the budget, and what we suggest dealing with before the quarter closes.

Administrative accounts are opened in your company name, never in Apply's. The Microsoft 365 tenant, the domain at the registrar, the hosting console and the licences belong to you, and we appear on them as contributors. Firms do occasionally spend months prising their own domain away from a provider who left on bad terms. Split the roles this way and the question never arises.

Questions and answers

Everything that repeats: user requests, patching, backup checks, creating and closing accounts, permission changes, the monthly report. Dated projects are priced separately, either fixed or at EUR 95 an hour excl. VAT, and never start without your written go-ahead.

Start opens at EUR 690 a month excl. VAT for up to ten users and responds within 4 h. Business sits at EUR 1,490 a month excl. VAT with a one-hour response. Premium begins at EUR 2,900 a month excl. VAT, drops to 15 min and opens the duty line. Server count and your tolerance for downtime usually decide faster than headcount does.

Term and notice appear in the contract. Throughout the engagement your documentation and access stay with you, so if you leave we organise a clean handover to whoever comes next. We would rather keep clients by choice than by making departure painful.

One invoice a month, sent in the electronic format required by the French e-invoicing reform, payable within 30 days by bank transfer. No travel line ever appears on it, because no travel happens. Questions go to finance@apply.fr.
