In a great many companies, IT rests on one person who handles it on top of their real job. They are the only one who remembers which cupboard holds the password list, and why the printer upstairs answers to one desk alone. The arrangement holds until their holiday, their sick leave or their resignation letter. Apply picks that weight up as a proper team, connects solely through encrypted remote sessions, and puts response targets in the contract instead of in a sales brochure.
Four kinds of arrangement, freely combined. Most companies open with the monthly plan; duty cover joins later, on the day the shop, the warehouse or the workshop begins running beyond office hours.
Everything below goes into the contract as an annex. It reflects a typical arrangement with an accountancy firm or a wholesaler of roughly thirty staff, part of them working from home.
Joiners and leavers
On day one the newcomer finds an Entra ID account, a licence, a mailbox and the right SharePoint folders. On the leaving date access is withdrawn the same day, including the logins held at outside suppliers that usually get forgotten.
Servers and cloud
Hypervisors, Linux and Windows machines, instances at OVHcloud or Scaleway, and the Microsoft 365 tenant itself. Patches land inside agreed windows, Tuesday after 20:00 being a common choice, with a way back planned in advance.
Backups put to the test
A green tick is not evidence. At the cadence agreed in writing, we bring back a real folder or a production database to confirm the data returns, and we record how long the operation took.
Devices driven by Intune
A laptop travels from the reseller straight to the employee, to their home address if that suits, and sets itself up at first sign-in: policies, encryption, business applications. No one needs to open the box before they do.
Licences and suppliers
Subscriptions from Microsoft matched to the real user count, domain and certificate expiry dates watched, and conversations with your operator or software publisher handled in your name. Physical work falls to your team, guided by our engineers.
A monthly report
Request numbers, targets met, the state of updates and backups, plus a short list of things worth settling before the quarter ends. Enough to judge a budget without taking anyone at their word.
How we begin
The takeover lasts as long as your estate demands, and we fix that period before anything starts. It is all done online, on Teams or on Google Meet, which means no meeting room to book and no day written off.
01
Review of the estate
We take stock of accounts, servers, licences and backup jobs, marking in red whatever counts as an immediate risk.
02
Offer and contract
You receive a monthly fee together with a scope described without jargon. The response targets become clauses, and the data processing agreement GDPR calls for is signed at the same moment.
03
Taking over access
Credentials move into an encrypted vault, monitoring is rolled out, the estate gets written up, and staff receive the channels for raising requests.
04
Steady running
Requests get handled as they come, planned work happens inside agreed windows, and at a regular interval the two of us go through costs and risks.
What it costs
Two things drive the fee: how many users and servers there are, and how quickly you need an answer. Amounts are stated before VAT, charged at 20%. Anything outside the plan is billed at EUR 95 an hour once you approve it.
No, and it is rarely a good idea. More often that person keeps the business applications and the projects they know better than anyone, while we take the helpdesk, the updates, the backups and the cover during their leave. It works out cheaper than a second hire, and nobody is left carrying the whole responsibility alone.
We never travel. That is the model, not an occasional limitation. To reconnect a cable or restart a router, the engineer talks one of your people, or the local technician you work with, through it over video. New hardware comes from your usual reseller and we prepare it afterwards through Intune.
None whatsoever. Since everything travels over the network, a company in Brittany, in Occitania or in the Paris region gets exactly the same service on exactly the same targets. We also work with businesses elsewhere in the European Union and with groups running a French subsidiary.
Before the first login we sign a processing agreement under article 28 of the GDPR, naming the processing activities concerned and how long logs are kept. Every connection needs multi-factor authentication and leaves a timestamped trail. We follow the principles of ISO 27001 and the guidance published by ANSSI, the French cybersecurity agency. If the CNIL ever inspects you, you can show who connected, when and why.
You take back the documentation, the passwords and the administrative accounts, and we pass the environment to your next provider in good order. The exit terms are written into the contract on the day it is signed, not negotiated on the way out.
Tell us how many people work with you, whether you run servers of your own and whether the quiet hours need covering. We will send back a monthly fee and the list of what it includes.
When we are around Weekdays, 8:00 to 18:00 CET; answers land inside one working day

Message received
An answer follows inside one working day. Report an outage that is stopping people working and it moves ahead of everything else.
Anything unclear gets asked. Where a figure needs detail we do not have, expect an e-mail or an offer of a short call on Teams or Google Meet.
A proposal follows. What is covered, the figure in euros excluding VAT, and a start date that will hold. Nothing hides beneath an asterisk.
Then it is your call. The proposal sits in your inbox for as long as you need. Query any line of it, and decide once you are satisfied.
